Spouses of Iltalehti readers also have inhokki clothes, which they like to tell their partners about. On the other hand, they also tell you what kind of clothing would be better.
“My boyfriend doesn’t like the loose A-line summer dresses that are in fashion now. He barks at them. You once said, Are you going to leave in a nightgown, when I was wearing a new fashionable dress. Should be form-fitting in his opinion. I personally like comfort so much that I am most comfortable in those “robes”. – Pimple
Others also say that especially oversized dresses, shirts and jackets that are too big and hang on top arouse surprise in partners. Tricot dresses, long skirts, boho style, bright colors and frills are also not pleasing to the partners’ eyes.
In the answers, it was repeated that the outfits are too colorful, too big, too visible in the partners’ opinion. On the other hand, clothes covering light colors and shapes were also considered too simple.
“I am wearing a full length pink tulle dress with sparkling sequined strawberries for our firstborn’s christening. To this my husband commented “Isn’t that a bit too much?”. – Strawberry dress

A few selected words have also been said about these clothing choices

“Here in Australia, fewer people understand wearing a leather jacket. My husband’s comments about the jacket in question “really European” and “have you joined the prätkäjeng”. The man also dislikes ball patterned clothes and anything with frills.” – Ozzystyle
“My husband doesn’t comment on any of my clothes. It would be nice if you would say something sometime… Even if I’m okay with my outfit to the village or to a party. I feel invisible.” – Mother of four

“Floral patterns, pastel colors, lace frills and clothes that are too loose are a complete hit. I excitedly showed my new boyfriend my summer dresses, some of which were frankly rated as “terrible”. So the horrors in question don’t end up on me when I’m with him…” – Obviously without a sense of style

One couple has come up with a solution, how both can tease each other with clothes.
“I could tell about my husband.. He doesn’t have a “color eye” at all. In the summer, for example, you can wear shorts with a troll leaf pattern and sleeveless or sleeveless t-shirts that don’t match their colors. Even when I go on a shopping trip, I ask her to change into nicer clothes, but she finds my behavior outrageous.
So, we have made it a habit to change into the other’s ugly clothes when the other dresses “badly”. My husband does own nice clothes, which are mostly the ones I have bought for him. She hates floral dresses and big patterns, and if she takes some of my dislikes with her on a trip, I’ll take her dislikes with me too.” – The splendor of a country style dress
