Dressage rider Dinja van Liere from Uden can continue to use her top horse Hermès for a longer period of time. The Stichting Nederlands Olympiade Paard (NOP) has made agreements with owner Joop van Uytert to keep the stallion for Dutch sport. Van Liere recently won two bronze medals with Hermès at the World Championships in Herning, Denmark.
For Van Liere it was her first World Cup. Earlier this year, she proved to be a good combination with Hermès by taking the national title together. Their score in Herning was a personal best.
The Stichting Nederlands Olympiade Paard (NOP) aims to retain potential Dutch team horses for TeamNL riders. The owners of horses registered by the NOP receive a financial allowance to continue using their horses with Dutch riders.
