After Jorinde van Klinken won bronze in the shot put on Monday, she ended up just short of the podium in the discus throw with 64.43 meters on Tuesday evening. With her fourth place in a strong field of participants, the athlete from Groningen Atletiek again proved to belong to the world top. The only 22-year-old Drenthe also finished fourth at the World Cup. The European title went to Croatian Sandra Perkovic with 67.95 meters.
