They assure that by 2024 they will begin their march from the International Space Station

At the moment it’s just a mockup

Russia has shown for the first time what it will be like the space station you will create after leaving the International Space Station. ROSCOSMOS, the Russian space agency, has shared the model of the future station which will receive the name of ROSS.

The installation of the EER would be launched in two different phases, with four modules expandable to six. The EER would allow the country to have a better view of the Earth than the one they currently have on the ISS (International Space Station)

ROSCOSMOS has not provided neither dates nor more information about the situation. Russian state media consider that its first phase would be launched between 2025 and 2030, while it would be completed between 2030 and 2035, so we are talking about very wide time windows and it is difficult to know if it will be carried out if relations are finally normalized.

Last July ROSCOSMOS announced the departure of the International Space Station in response to Western sanctions. In fact, he even threatened to take the ISS out of orbit.
