Zoo staff started a search. The trees around the residence were combed and then also the trees outside the park. There one of the employees saw Ravi sitting in a fig tree. The caretakers initially tried to lure him out of the tree with bamboo and corn, but to no avail. He was eventually shot with a tranquilizer dart. He fell into the blankets of the zookeepers who were under the tree.

Ravi is currently in an animal hospital and is doing well, the director of Adelaide Zoo told ABC. “But he’ll be here two or three more days. I want to make sure he is completely healthy and recovered from his adventure,” said director Phil Ainsley.
