Jonas Wind suffered a “serious thigh injury” during training at VfL Wolfsburg and will be out for several weeks. The Lower Saxony announced this on Monday.
The 23-year-old attacker switched to the “Wolves” last January for 12 million euros and has scored five goals in 16 games since then. In the current season, Niko Kovac had used the 15-time Danish international in the DFB Cup and in the Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen for a total of 99 minutes.
Bad news: The wolves have to do without Jonas Wind for several weeks. The striker was injured in training and tests have revealed a serious thigh injury. Get well soon, Jonas! #VfLWolfsburg pic.twitter.com/rYbS0rZSta
