Pop star Justin Bieber performed on Tuesday, August 9 in Kaisaniemi park in Helsinki. Bieber’s concert was organized by Weekend festival.
Contacted Illetehti Inca says that he bought a vip ticket for Bieber’s concert, but was disappointed with the arrangements in the area. VIP tickets were sold at a price of 249–299 euros.
– It was a complete flop in the way that the VIP area was only for celebrities, Inka says.

On Tuesday, Iltalehti reported on the mood of Bieber’s concert in Kaisaniemi. Several public figures caught a glimpse of the VIP tent.
According to Inka, there was little seating in the area and most of the tables were reserved for public figures. He says he came to the area at four o’clock.
– Then we were still sitting at the table.
He says that the public figures arrived in the area only a few minutes before the start of the gig.
– At some point in the evening, the tables started to be emptied, and we were asked to move away.
When the gig started, according to Inka, the VIP area was full to the brim and you couldn’t see the stage properly from the lower level of the area. He says that he ended up watching the gig near the VIP area of Vessoj. The upper stand of the area was also so full that Inka doesn’t think that the view from there was even better on the stage.
– I had my own toilets, yes, that was true.

– It wasn’t very nice to watch a two and a half hundred euro gig next to the baja houses, says Inka.
Inka says that she has also witnessed improper behavior of public figures in the area and, among other things, being passed in bar lines.
According to Weekend Festival’s website, VIP ticket buyers were promised “several exclusive services, which include e.g. own toilets and bars with staff”.
Inka says that the drinks in the VIP area, among other things, were more expensive than in other gig areas.
Inka also criticized the publicizing of the concert. Before the gig, he had tried to ask the customer service what the “exclusive services” promised on the website included. He says that he received unfriendly treatment from customer service.
Iltalehti has seen the exchange of messages between Inka and Weekend Festival’s customer service.
Changes were also made to the concert at the last minute. Just a day before the gig, Weekend festival announced that the concert has been moved up by more than an hour.
Also a singer planned as a warm-up artist Noah Cyrus canceled his income a few weeks earlier. Cyrus made the announcement on her own Instagram account on July 28. The festival announced the cancellation about a week later.
