A woman was injured this afternoon when she was hit in her scooter on Rembrandtweg in Amstelveen. The driver did not care for the victim for a moment and drove on.
A police spokesperson confirms to NH Nieuws that someone has been injured. Witnesses say it is a woman. The collision happened just after 3.30 pm, just before the roundabout where Rembrandtweg and Mr. G. Groen van Prinstererlaan.
The police can not say anything about the seriousness and nature of her injuries, but the woman was ‘less approachable’, says a spokesperson. Her dog was taken care of by bystanders, according to witnesses.
Police are looking for the driver before leaving the crash site. After the accident, the car drove towards the Oranjebaan. Spokesperson can not yet give details such as registration number or color of the car. Burgernet has not yet called on to watch out for the motorist either.
