World Champion of 2014 | Kramer after the Women’s European Championship: “It’s hard to take the hype with you”

Soccer World Champion Christoph Kramer from Borussia Mönchengladbach followed the women’s European Soccer Championship with great interest and was enthusiastic about the performance of the DFB team.

“I was really impressed by how they performed. I was really excited and watched the final from the bus after our cup game. They deserved the title,” Kramer told the “Rheinische Post”.

He was particularly impressed by the team spirit and the authenticity. “I think that with men we sometimes suffer a little from the ‘I’m too cool’ syndrome. That wasn’t the case with women. There wasn’t anyone who was too cool. They all really got along happy, they were also happy for each other,” said Kramer. There was also no player who took their silver medal after the award ceremony. “I hope that women’s football will benefit from this, even if I think it will be difficult to take the hype with you,” said Kramer.
