Since 2013, Belgian investigators have used data from the American tech companies Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Apple more than 15,000 times to fight crime. De Standaard writes this on the basis of figures from the Dutch cybersecurity company Surfshark. Worldwide, only eight countries made use of this more often than Belgium.
