Kevin Behrens (31) only came on in Chemnitz in extra time (106th minute).

Eight minutes later he headed Union with the goal to make it 2-1 in the next round of the cup. Behrens: “Of course it would be nice if it could always work.”

The attacker, who was again successful as a joker, was able to collect plus points for longer assignments from coach Urs Fischer (56). Fischer: “He submitted an application. It was a great header that decided the game.”

It was strange when the goal was celebrated. Behrens first ran towards the grandstand. Then he turned towards the guest block. And then he ran into his own half to show his joy to the Chemnitz fans. Referee Bastian Dankert (42) didn’t find it funny. He warned Behrens for being unsportsmanlike.
