An explosion took place at a house on the Stapelen in Den Bosch on Saturday night. No injuries were reported, the police said. It concerns the house of Grada K. She has recently become the girlfriend of criminal Klaas Otto, former top man of motorcycle club No Surrender. Otto has been spotted regularly in his girlfriend’s house.
The explosion happened around a quarter past one. The area has been cordoned off. The damage to the house appears to be not too bad, says a 112 correspondent.
Research
It is not yet known what caused the explosion. Emergency services are present to check the safety of the home. Surrounding homes have not been evacuated for the time being.
The police are investigating. She is calling on people with information to get in touch. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) and the fire brigade are also on site.
‘Error attack’
Cameras have recently been installed in the Bossche district of Maaspoort after an attack took place on Tuesday night at a terraced house on the Goedenrade. The house containing a sleeping family was badly damaged. There were no injuries in this.
That house is a few hundred meters away from the house on Stapelen where an explosion took place on Saturday night. That would probably have been the perpetrator’s real target on Tuesday night. But he would have been mistaken then. Both houses have the same house number. Police are investigating whether there is a connection between the explosions.
Cameras after attack
Camera columns were installed at both houses after the explosion on Tuesday night. Although there are cameras, the perpetrator does not seem to have cared about this now.
Presumably, he parked his (escape) car at a house on Hofstedelaan on Saturday night. The perpetrator almost caused a collision while driving away.
Previous target of extreme violence
The house on the Stapelen had previously been the target of extreme violence. In March 2017, for example, the house was shot at by someone with an automatic weapon. More than ten bullets completely riddled the window at the front of the house. The police have never been able to find out who is behind this.
