The weekend is approaching and that means that we will once again list for you what there is to do in our province. Also this weekend that makes for a nice list!
Let’s first see what the weather is going to be like, that might make the decision whether you want to do something indoors or outdoors a little easier.
According to the RTV Drenthe weatherman, we will have summer temperatures around 25 degrees on the thermometer this weekend. Saturday will start beautifully with sunshine, in the afternoon more clouds will move over, but it will remain dry. With low pressure areas creeping closer, we see some more clouds in the following days, with the occasional sun. During the hottest part of the day, in the afternoon, there may also be a local shower, especially on Sunday.
Do you have an interest in the past and a love for stones and fossils? Then the Oertijdmarkt in Emmen might be something for you! As the name “Prehistoric Market” indicates, there is a large market with, among other things, archaeology, geology, minerals, fossils and related products. There are more than 90 different stalls, a snack, a drink and many activities for children.
Sunday from 10 am you are welcome at the velodrome of Sportpark Meerdijk in Emmen. The entrance is 4 euros per person, children from 3 to 16 years pay 1.50 euros.
