The 2023 European Judo Championships will take place in Montpellier, France, from November 2nd to 5th.
This was confirmed by the city, the region and the world judo association IJF on Friday. The event serves as an endurance test ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
At this year’s European Championships in Sofia, the German Judo Federation (DJB) secured two medals: Alina Böhm won gold in the class up to 78 kilos, Johannes Frey secured the silver medal in the men’s class over 100 kilos.
