André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg were caught by paparazzo Edwin Smulders at Schiphol just before half past seven on Monday morning. “They both went back to their own homes.”
After a sunny holiday on the Thai island of Koh Samui, André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg are back on Dutch soil. They walked out of Schiphol’s VIP exit just before 7.30 on Monday morning, where they were met by friend Story paparazzo Edwin Smulders.
Cool goodbye
The photos of the returned André and Monique adorn the cover of the latest Story (see below). The images are striking because they show André and Monique returning to their own homes in two separate cars. He to mother Rachel in Mijdrecht, she to the former family villa in Berkel en Rodenrijs.
‘This is where André Hazes and Monique part ways after family vacation AGAIN!’, headlines the Story. ‘No camera crew. No proposal. Well: cool goodbye.’
No marriage
Virtually all show media, including the Privé weekly, claim that André and Monique have made plans for a wedding on Koh Samui. That marriage should then form the final piece of his new documentary series on Videoland. The Story, of which Guido den Aantrekker is the editor-in-chief with Rachel, says that this is nonsense.
The return of André and Monique to Schiphol proves that, according to Guido. “The atmosphere was not only remarkably cool, André also went home alone, while a taxi driver brought back Monique and little Dré (5).”
‘It’s fantasy’
Guido states that other show media are really completely wrong. According to him, these photos ‘dismantle’ the ‘nonsense stories’ about the two. “It is the reality of their relationship: everything to make their child happy, but roaring stories about a camera crew that traveled with them and even a second proposal are really fantasy…”
The Story boss also points out that there was no camera crew to Thailand at all. André just wants his son Dré to experience family happiness, according to Guido. “In all the time that rumors have been spread about a rematch with Monique, the singer has never slept there.”
