The first meeting, held on February 26, 2020 in Madrid, was headed by the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezand the ‘president’ of the Generalitat, Quim Torra. The government delegation was completed with the vice presidents Carmen Calvo and Pablo Iglesias, and the socialist ministers María Jesús Montero, José Luis Ábalos, Carolina Darias and Salvador Illa; as well as the head of United We Can, Manuel Castells.
The Catalan delegation was made up of the ‘vice president’ Pere Aragonesthe ‘consellers’ alfred bosch Y Jordi Puignero; the representatives of Together, Elsa Artadi Y Joseph Rius; and from Esquerra, Martha Vilalta Y Josep Maria Jove. After this first contact, according to republican sources, it was verbally agreed within the Government that the delegation should be made up of members of the Consell Executiu, to give the forum a high institutional status, but Junts denies it.
The second appointment no longer had the presence of the post-convergence, which decided not to attend the appointment by not accepting its delegation proposal, made up of the vice president Jordi Puigneró, the vice president of Junts, Jordi Turull, the general secretary, Jordi Sánchez ( these last two, pardoned after being convicted on 1-O), and the leader of the force in Congress, Míriam Nogueras.
The September 15, 2021Sánchez and Aragonès met for almost two hours before officially beginning the dialogue table meeting in Barcelona, which included the head of the Presidency, Felix Bolanosthe second vice president, Yolanda Diazand the ministers Elizabeth Rodriguez (Territorial Policy) and miquel iceta (Culture and Sports), on one side and with Laura Vilagra (Presidency) and Roger Torrent (Business).
