Eva Jinek may be able to move to SBS 6 to take on the presentation of HLF8 if the major merger in TV land continues. That is what viewing figures professor Tina Nijkamp suggests in a story on Instagram.
It has become clear to everyone in recent years that Eva Jinek has slackened quite a bit in her career. Where she was initially overflowing with ambition, she is now mainly busy planning holidays. Meanwhile, De Weekend seriously wonders how long Eva will continue to make a talk show.
Eva to HLF8?
Eva says she struggles with enormous guilt when she leaves home to present her talk show. She finds it difficult to be separated from her son Pax. “Eva Jinek is in a constant battle with herself”, writes de Weekend, who seriously considers that she will stop making a daily.
There may be another solution, say ratings professor Tina Nijkamp. “I think Eva Jinek will definitely continue to do her talk show, but what might be a good idea is that after the merger between RTL and Talpa, she will alternately fill the HLF8 slot with Renze Klamer (with her own name) on SBS. 6.”
What about Johnny?
HLF8 can be combined much better with family life, says the former broadcaster of SBS 6. “Renze and Eva both have young kids, the evening show seems to me to combine better in connection with the children getting up early. The most important condition for success is of course a good format and a line-up that is accurate to the minute.”
What about Johnny de Mol, who would love to return to HLF8? According to Tina, he could possibly become a ‘flying chicken’. “And then Humberto and Beau can alternately do late night on RTL 4.”
Marieke Elsinga
The proposal to move Eva to a more comfortable time resembles the rumors about Marieke Elsinga. She is currently pregnant, but still has to get up before dawn to present the morning show of Qmusic.
According to radio expert Patrick Kicken, Marieke will therefore move to the afternoon of Radio 538. If the takeover of Talpa by RTL goes ahead, Radio 538 will also belong to RTL and Marieke can make radio and TV under one roof and at a better time. “Combining a morning show with evening TV is killer.”
