On Wednesday, the new sketch comedy series “Schloss Goldbach – Celebrities much too close” premieres on Sat.1.
“Markus Lanz is in love with Karl Lauterbach”: celebrities such as ZDF talker Lanz and his permanent guest, Minister of Health Lauterbach, as well as “mountain doctor” Hans Sigl recover from the nerve-wracking life in the area of a self-optimization institute with meditation, music therapy, discussion rounds or wellness the public. That’s the idea of the new sketch comedy series “Schloss Goldbach – Celebrities much too close”, which premieres on Sat.1 on Wednesday (July 27, 11 p.m.).
The parodied celebrities also include Helene Fischer, Dieter Bohlen, Evelyn Burdecki, Verona Pooth and his family and Carsten Maschmeyer. In contrast to (earlier) popular formats such as “Switch” or “Binge Reloaded”, “Schloss Goldbach” does not target TV programs, but the stars and starlets in seemingly private situations in the fictitious castle.
Sat.1 used to be known for its comedy formats. The so-called Fun Friday hasn’t existed for years. After a long time, it is the first attempt by the private broadcaster from Unterföhring near Munich to regain a foothold in the comedy genre and place a format. The ensemble of actors includes Marti Fischer, Katrin Ingendoh, Luisa Wietzorek, Jenny Bins, Michael Meichßner, Khalid Bounouar and Tobias John von Freyend.
