Good news for Zwolle home seekers. It was actually the intention that the Breecamp-West neighborhood in the Zwolle district of Stadshagen will only be developed from 2026, but because there is a high demand for homes, the municipality of Zwolle wants to accelerate the development of the residential location.
Breecamp-West is located in the northwest corner of Stadshagen, west of Scholtensteeg and against the village boundaries of ‘s Heerenbroek and the Mastenbroek polder. 400 to 600 new homes are to be built at this location.
When developing Breecamp-West, the main focus is on sustainability, says the municipality. The new neighborhood will also have a village character. “An important task is the design of this new neighborhood in a natural residential environment and the location of the area in the polder.”
It will still be a few years before you can really live in Breecamp-West. The development of the neighborhood will be determined in the coming years. Because Breecamp-West borders on ‘s Heerenbroek, the municipality of Kampen is also involved in the coordination.
There are also many new construction plans in the Tippe, another new district in Stadshagen. For example, there will be 150 extra homes in the ‘affordable’ category and the municipality has a plan ready to buy at fifty homes discount to give. Also in the Spoorzone and the Stadshart accelerated housing construction. A total of 3,250 homes are to be built there.
And that’s not all. On 21 July it was announced that the housing association SWZ and the municipality of Zwolle have signed a cooperation agreement. This contains agreements about renovated homes between Anthonie Heinsiusstraat and Casper Fagelstraat in Dieze-Oost. At least as many social rental homes and new abodes in the free sector are being built on the site of the 88 social rental homes. Exactly how many homes there will be will become clear later.
