The European trade union umbrella organization (ETUC) is today calling for legislation that sets a maximum temperature in the workplace in Europe. Last week, according to the umbrella organization in Spain, two workers were killed as a result of the heat. The unions denounce that only a few European countries have introduced legislation to protect workers during heat waves.
