The municipality already took measures this week after three homes were shelled in a short time. For example, additional enforcers are deployed.
The first shooting took place last week in the night from Thursday to Friday in the Merelstraat, not far from the Vijversingel. According to the police, several shots were fired, but the damage was limited to bullet impacts in windows.
The second, in the night from Friday to Saturday, was aimed at a house on the Veekraal in Oss. The resident was home but unharmed. In the third shooting, bullets were fired at a house on Merelstraat in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. But not the same house as the one that was shot at the first time.
No one was hit in any of the shootings. The police are investigating whether there is a connection between the shelling of the houses, and whether they were specifically aimed at someone.
