The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) rejected the candidacy of the head of the Russian delegation and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy for the position of vice-president of the organization from Russia. This is mentioned on site PACE.

This is stated on the English version of the website of the lower house of parliament. On the Russian-language version of the resource, there are no such words by Volodin.

According to him, 79 delegations voted for the candidacy of the Russian candidate, 106 voted against.
