“Did he really say to me”
Ex-BVB striker Erling Haaland (22) does not seem to feel any pressure from his new club Manchester City. According to teammate Jack Grealish (26), this is also due to the transfer fee. “He really said to me: I only cost half as much as you, so I have no pressure,” said Grealish, who almost a year ago for the club and Premier League’s internal record sum of around 117.5 million Euro from Aston Villa, in Houston, Texas. Man City is said to have transferred 60 million euros to Borussia Dortmund for Haaland, who used an exit clause.

“Of course, the expectations will always be high, but nowadays you have to be able to deal with them,” said Grealish, who is currently on a US tour with the “Citizens”, referring to his Norwegian striker colleagues. “I guess if he misses an opportunity or something, people will always say something about it. I had to get used to that myself.”
Grealish has no doubts that Haaland will prevail at Man City. “Erling has made a good impression in training and when he reaches his best level of fitness there will be no stopping him. I can’t wait to play with him and I’m really looking forward to it.” Haaland could see a former Bundesliga rival again on Sunday. Then Manchester City will play a friendly game against FC Bayern in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
