The body of 53-year-old Hakim was found on Sunday morning in the water at Ferdinand Lousbergskaai in Ghent, Belgium. The autopsy revealed that he was still alive when he entered the water. He then drowned because he could not swim.
The police investigation revealed that the man had been thrown into the water. According to Belgian media, camera images showed that three men grabbed the victim and threw it off a bridge. All three men would have Dutch nationality.
