Bayern Munich | Report: Next Bayern departure is imminent

FC Bayern is still very busy on the transfer market. After the water level reports on the transfer of Juve star Matthijs de Ligt at Munich dominated in the last few hours, the record champion is now about to sell another defensive man.

According to information from “sky“The central defender Chris Richards is about to be sold. According to the media report, however, not to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where Richards was recently awarded twice. The American is said to have agreed on a change with the English first division club Crystal Palace.

The players and the club are said to have already verbally agreed. Now the London club from the Premier League should make a transfer offer to Bayern to finalize the change.

Richards had fought for a regular place in Hoffenheim’s central defense in the second half of the Bundesliga season. In total, he appeared in 21 competitive games for the Kraichgau team in 2021/2022, who had loaned him out for the second time.

Richards transfer from FC Bayern to TSG Hoffenheim probably off the table

A permanent transfer of the 22-year-old, who moved to FC Bayern in Germany in 2018, is obviously not going to happen. At least not within the Bundesliga.

There had recently been various media reports that assumed an exchange model with Chris Richards and Hoffenheim international David Raum.

Instead of the change within the league, the defender should henceforth be drawn to the island of Crystal Palace, which finished twelfth in the Premier League table last season.

In the meantime, nothing is known about a possible transfer fee from the Eagles to Munich. The US boy still has a long-term contract with the German series champion until 2025.
