Just a couple of years ago, rally fans were obsessed with the future struggles of two second-generation rally stars.
Kalle Rovanperä however, I think I will never get it From Oliver Solberg equal to their taxes.
Solberg, 20, who races for Hyundai, is the 2003 World Rally Champion by Petter Solberg son. The Korean team has already been trying to turn Oliver into a top driver for a couple of seasons, but instead of success, mostly scrap has been created.
In the World Rally Championship in Estonia, Solberg was only 11th. Another difficult rally was to take another rough turn on the final day of the rally, when the i20 got out of the driver’s hands in a bad place.
Driving too hard in the corner caused the Hyundai to go sideways just as the car was coming to the jump. The car bounced sideways in the air and then continued to slide on the grass. The driver was a full passenger in the situation, while the car sped past the huge crowd just meters away.
Solberg is only 14th in this season’s World Series. In Sweden he finished sixth, in Monte Carlo and Croatia he was suspended. The Safari Rally also went well.
