Cheerful music, bright colors and brave lyrics: Coldplay are often ridiculed, but nobody doubts their success. With more than 100 million albums sold, countless hits and full concert halls, now stadiums, the band around frontman Chris Martin is one of the most important music groups of the noughties.
On July 10th they stopped at the Olympiastadion in Berlin for their “Music of the Spheres World Tour”. Coldplay will perform again there on July 12th and July 13th.
Coldplay played in front of 71,000 fans – the stadium was sold out.
In addition to confetti and LED bracelets, there were also colourful, animated short videos on a display in the background of the stage.

Coldplay brought a Ukrainian children’s choir on stage for the song “Something Just Like This”. Chris Martin also praised the Germans for supporting the Ukrainians:
