No team had ever seen seven goals in the European Futsal Championships (men’s and women’s).
In fact, only Germany (6-2 win over England 2009) and England (6-0 win over Scotland 2017) had reached six goals in their matches in the women’s tournament.
On Monday, England of 2022 already scored six in the opening period against Norway.

Despite the historic crushing loss, Norway still has a decent chance of reaching the second round. It only needs to beat Austria in the final round of the group on Friday.
A draw would leave the next place on goal difference, and it certainly does not favor Norway.
