Thanks to the Avalancheboys, tens of thousands of Max fans are still having a party

Max Verstappen might just miss the win in the Austrian grand prix, thanks to the Avalancheboys it was still a party at the circuit. Throughout the weekend, the duo from Budel turned things upside down for the tens of thousands of fans who had traveled with them. “Those orange campsites in football are nothing compared to this.”

It was a weekend for the books, says Addie Compen of the party duo. “We left early on Thursday morning to be able to sound check.” A day later, the party actually started. “Friday we were in the fan zone, Saturday in a huge tent with a kind of Oktoberfest setting.”

“The Austrians of the organization thought it was just as exciting.”

Then dessert was yet to come. “After the race itself, there was still a closing performance on the roll.” And how beautiful it is when our national pride Max Verstappen starts that party with a grandiose victory. Unfortunately it didn’t come to that. The Limburger crossed the finish line in second after an exciting race.

“The Austrians of the organization thought it was exciting”, Addie laughs. “They were already wondering whether it would still be fun if Max didn’t win. We assured them that all those fans have forgotten that after ten minutes.”

A promise that the men kept a little later. “It was again one big party with a great atmosphere and no bullshit. We once were on such an orange campsite at a football tournament. Well, compared to this it was really nothing. Unbelievable.”

“It was already said that we had to reserve a spot in our agenda for next year.”

Monday morning the Avalancheboys will leave for Brabant again. “It was a busy weekend, so we will dive into our basket early. But, first a beer ourselves.” And whether they will be there next year to shout Max to victory? “The official invitation has not yet arrived, but it has already been said that we should reserve a spot in our agenda.”
