Club Brugge is getting ready for the new season
Carl Hoefkens sharpens his football vision in the team during this internship. A vision that newcomer Bjorn Meijer agrees with.
The 19-year-old Dutchman has digested the switch from Groningen well. “I must honestly say that I had no idea what to expect. I do have the feeling that it is fine to do. Of course it is higher, that goes without saying, but I do have the feeling that I am good at this from Groningen. be prepared,” says Bjorn Meijer.
New offensive material
Club Brugge is especially active in attracting offensive material. Ferran Jutgla has already been joined by Cyle Larin, ex-Zulte Waregem, and the Kosovar Vedta Muriqi is also on the way.
The ex-striker of Fenerbahce, Lazio and Mallorca must absorb the possible departure of Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere. Leeds United want to put £30 million on the table for King Charles. The transfer rumors don’t weigh on their commitment to training. “That is a condition. I speak with the boys, and I want to know their mindset. If they stay at Club Brugge they have to be ready, if they make a transfer they also have to be ready for the next challenge. That is a win-win situation for everyone,” says trainer Hoefkens.
Next Sunday, Club will already be playing for the Supercup against AA Gent, and that while the internationals are barely training. On Saturday Club Brugge will close the internship in Wageningen with a practice match against FC Copenhagen.
