The A28 to and from Assen will be closed this weekend between Julianaplein in Groningen and the slip roads at Groningen-South. The closure will last from 10 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Monday.
Traffic from Assen that normally uses Julianaplein to drive towards Drachten is now advised to use the N386 (Vries) and N372 (Peize). If you want to set course in the direction of Hoogezand, Delfzijl or the east side of Groningen, you will be diverted via the N33 (Gieten/Veendam) and the A7. The same routes apply in reverse.
