VHS tapes seem to be a sought after collector’s item again. In recent months, hefty sums have been paid for video tapes during auctions. At auction house Heritage Auctions, a tape with the film Back to the Future was sold for $ 75,000 (almost 74,000 euros), while copies of The Goonies and Jaws were paid $ 50,000 and $ 32,500 respectively.
