Naz Elmas, through her lawyer, applied to Beykoz Family Court and filed a divorce case against her husband, Erol Özmandıracı.
The actress cited intellectual and spiritual conflict as the reason for ending her 3-year marriage.
Naz Elmas attended the hearing of the case with her lawyer Aslı Çelik Hatemi and Erol Özmandıracı with her lawyer Sibel Engin. The court ruled that the two should be divorced ‘with consent’.
After the hearing, which lasted for 10 minutes, the couple made a joint statement and stated that they ended their marriage within the framework of mutual respect, understanding and agreement.
CHILD CRISIS ALLEGED
The allegations that the couple decided to divorce last April came to the fore because Naz Elmas wanted a child but Erol Özmandıracı had a negative view of this decision.
Naz Elmas commented on the news about them, “What a fake news, for God’s sake! It’s really tragicomic”.
