Bundesliga club Mainz 05 loses its central defender Moussa Niakhaté. As the club has confirmed, the Frenchman is moving to Premier League promoted Nottingham Forest.
The 26-year-old came to Rheinhessen in 2018 and played 135 competitive games (9 goals). Niakhaté has signed a three-year contract with Nottingham. According to media reports, Mainz will collect ten million euros. Additional bonuses of up to five million can also be added.
