A car ended up on its side at Veenoord tonight in an accident, in which the driver was injured. The accident happened on the A37.
The highway was closed to traffic from Hoogeveen in the direction of the German border.
It is unknown how the accident happened. Several emergency services came to the scene of the accident and the driver was taken to hospital by an ambulance.
