The water jumpers Lena Hentschel and Tina Punzel have reached the World Cup final from the 3m board.
The two Olympic bronze medalists in synchronized jumping qualified fifth and eighth for the round of the twelve best on Saturday evening in Budapest.
“The first jump went a bit wrong, but I think it was a little kick in the ass to really attack again,” said Hentschel: “After that, every jump actually went the way I trained it in training.”
Punzel was “very relieved” that she was able to overcome the “midday slump that was there in between”.
