On June 30th, the jury of the renowned French ANDAM Fashion Awards announced this year’s scholarship recipients. Equipped with record prize money totaling more than 600,000 euros, five prize winners can now start the associated mentoring program.
Grand ANDAM Award Winner: Botter
The 33-strong jury selected the winners from a total of 13 finalists. The big ANDAM prize, which is worth 300,000 euros, went to the label Botter. The special prize of 100,000 euros was awarded to Robert Wun. In the coming year, both will be supported creatively and strategically by Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Chanel Fashion, in order to further develop their label and strengthen their international reputation.
The Pierre Bergé Prize, worth 100,000 euros, goes to the Bluemarble label. Tomorrow’s founder and CEO, Stefano Martinetto, will help designer Anthony Alvarez to structure his Bluemarble label and achieve safe and global growth for his brand.
The prize for accessories, which is endowed with 50,000 euros, goes to Dolly Cohen. Frédéric Maus, CEO of WSN, will support the label as a mentor in the future.
ANDAM Innovation Award went to Ever Dye
The ANDAM Fashion Innovation Award 2022 was already presented in April: the winner was the company Ever Dye. The French start-up was recognized for a new dyeing process that, combined with an organically grown pigment, allows faster dyeing with less energy and no petrochemicals. The innovation prize is endowed with 70,000 euros.
The ANDAM has been awarded for 33 years. The sponsors and jury members include companies such as Balenciaga, Galeries Lafayette, Google, Meta and, for the first time, the Munich luxury fashion retailer Mytheresa.
