At an ecumenical funeral service in Bad Arolsen, Hesse, the victims of the rampage in Berlin were remembered on Thursday.
Gor H. (29) drove his silver Renault Clio into two groups of pedestrians near the Memorial Church on June 8th.
More than 30 people were injured in the act, including numerous tenth graders from the Kaulbach school in Bad Arolsen, who were on a class trip to the capital. Her teacher Tanja H. (51) died from the serious injuries.

“There are moments when you feel frozen and stunned by the severity of a blow of fate,” said Jürgen van der Horst, district administrator of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, after the service in the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist. And added: “You are not alone now, we are with you and will help you to cope with the terrible experiences.”
The German-Armenian Gor H. is still in a psychiatric hospital at the request of the public prosecutor. The judiciary has charged him with one count of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.
