Broadcasting Max announced on Thursday that it would stop the program at the end of the year. Manuela had not been heard since the end of April. She suddenly lost her words during the broadcast.
“I’ll be away for a while,” Manuela says. “I’ve been sick and I needed time to myself. In consultation with Omroep Max, I have decided to continue that time and rest and not to return to the program for the next six months.”
The radio maker is sorry. “I have missed you, dear listeners. But after forty years of work I needed some time. Thank you for your compassion and heartwarming, sweet messages.”
