Farfetch and Good On You create brand sustainability hub

Luxury fashion platform Farfetch has partnered with sustainability rater Good On You to launch a ‘hub’ to help brands better understand and communicate their sustainability performance.

The new “one-stop solution” called “Good Measures” offers brands a “comprehensive overview” of their current sustainability score and gives individual advice on where they can improve.

Good Measures is available free of charge to all Farfetch brand partners and plans to expand to the entire fashion industry later this year.

Brands may submit publicly available information about their performance, allowing them to be rated or re-rated by Good On You. If they achieve a high enough score, they qualify for the Farfetch Conscious Collection.

Good Measures is based on the Good On You rating system, which measures the impact of individual brands on people, the environment and animals. The system feeds information from over 500 data points, including independent standards and certifications, third-party indices, and brands’ public reporting.

“One of the goals of our Positively Farfetch strategy is to empower the brands we work with to make strides in sustainability and ultimately help our customers make positive choices,” commented Thomas Berry , Senior Director of Sustainable Business at Farfetch.

“Our latest Conscious Luxury Trends report underscores the rapidly growing consumer interest in conscious products, and Good Measures will help our brand partners become more sustainable and capitalize on these positive consumer desires,” added Berry.
