Spanish journalism fires a historical figure. the Asturian Jose Luis Balbinthe charismatic creator and host of “The Key”, died this Wednesday in Madrid at the age of 81. The news has been posted by Julia Mesonerothe journalist’s widow, with a note published on Balbín’s official profiles on social networks, in which she also reports that “as he wanted, his mortal remains will be taken to his hometown, Pravia“.

Trajectory
Balbín (Pravia, Asturias, 1940), who presented “The Key” On TVE from 1976 to 1985, he was director of the public channel between 1982 and 1983 and after a few years of professional activity on Antena 3 Radio, he returned with the legendary debate program on Antena 3 Television.
Later, and on the same network, he hosted the interview space “La Senda”, and was also tertuliano in the COPE chain in the program “La Linterna” and in “La Mañana”.
