1. FC Köln surprisingly takes a lead in the dressing room. At the beginning the game had few chances with VfL Bochum being slightly overweight. Then a careless protection from Cologne with their own throw-in favored the lead of the home side. Bochum was clearly better after the goal and had more chances. But then a corner was enough for the Cologne team to get back into the game. The equalizer strengthened the guests. At the end of the first half, a mistake by Pantović and Modeste’s individual class even gave them the lead. After the course of the game, this is quite surprising. Cologne has been freezing so far.
