In his first conversation with Twitter employees, Elon Musk said he wants to grow the platform to one billion users. Twitter currently has 229 million users worldwide. During the conversation, Musk did not say whether the deal will go ahead at all, after he himself questioned the acquisition a few weeks ago due to the number of bots on the platform.
