Coast expects top weekend thanks to tropical weather

Traditionally, good weather attracts many people to the sea. That will also be the case for next weekend. With the predicted tropical temperatures, coastal hotels, campsites and holiday homes are seeing reservations flowing in smoothly.

Hotels on the coast are already recording an average occupancy of 85 percent for next weekend. It is expected that many last minute bookings will be added in the last days before the weekend. Two thirds of the holiday homes by the sea will also be occupied next weekend.

In addition, as of today, there is at least one lifeguard station in every coastal municipality. It is recommended to swim in the sea only in those monitored areas. All posts are manned during the summer months of July and August.
