After the first day of selectivity, which passed without incident beyond the uneasiness caused in many students by the adverb of focus in the Spanish Language and Literature exam, the PAU 2022 enter their second day with the Catalan Language and Literature exam, which is part of the compulsory general phase. The test will start at 09.00. Just as the students left the Spanish exam satisfied, which they found, in general, very easy, we will have to see what reactions there are to the Catalan exam.
The level of Catalan of the students is the focus of attention after several studies have detected a decrease in the use of this language by young people and after the decision of the TSJC that obliges the Department of Education to give 25% of the classes in Spanish in all schools in Catalonia.
After this exam, at 12.00 the students will be examined, depending on their baccalaureate modality, of Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Foundations of the Arts and Greek. This will be the first time that they will be given the exams according to the language they chose on Tuesday when filling in the anonymous self-copy form. Those who chose Catalan will be given a copy in this language, and those who chose Spanish will be given a version in this language.
How will it proceed? The court has a copy of the form since Tuesday, so it knows how many exams it will need in one language and the other. The other copy was kept by the students. This afternoon they will leave it on the table in view of the teacher, who will give them the exam in the chosen language.

The PAU will end on Thursday with the tests of History, Mathematics / Artistic Drawing / Latin and, in the afternoon, History of Philosophy / History of Art / Spanish Literature / Biology / Technical Drawing. The results will be known on June 29.
