With the start of Pitti Uomo today, the trade fair season begins. A busy time of travelling, searching, networking and writing orders is ahead for some retailers. Pitti Uomo, Tuesday June 14th to Friday June 17th
The classic Italian menswear fair Pitti Uomo is one of the world’s leading menswear events. The fair is divided into different areas: from ‘Fantastic Classic’ to ‘Scandinavian Manifesto’. Pitti Uomo is dedicating a separate area to more sustainable fashion labels this year. The designers Ann Demeulemeester and Grace Wales Bonner are the special guests of this edition: both will host a catwalk show.

CIFF Kids, Sunday June 19th to Tuesday June 21st
The trade fair season continues with three children’s fashion fairs. The first is CIFF Kids, the children’s edition of the Danish fashion fair CIFF. CIFF Kids takes place twice a year and is the only fashion fair in Scandinavia that focuses specifically on children’s fashion.

Pitti Bimbo, Wednesday June 22nd to Friday June 24th
Pitti Bimbo is the children’s fashion concept of the Florentine trade fair company Pitti Immagine. Two hundred brands will take part in the forthcoming edition, around seventy percent of which are of non-Italian origin.

Tranoï Men, Saturday 23 June to Tuesday 26 June
At the men’s edition of Tranoï in Paris, 45 designers will be exhibiting, selected with the help of the French fashion association Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. The focus is on creative designs for modern ready-to-wear, accessories and lifestyle brands. The selection criteria include a creative perspective, originality and innovation. For buyers who cannot be there, Tranoï also offers a ‘Live Streaming Studio’ where the designers’ drafts can be viewed digitally. The Tranoï Women takes place at the end of September.

On Monday, June 20th, the Frankfurt Fashion Week in the Main metropolis, which is organized by Messe Frankfurt. The Neonyt fair, which focuses on sustainability in the fashion industry, also takes place as part of the fashion week. In addition to numerous sustainable fashion labels, there will also be a conference at Neonyt where innovations in the fashion industry will be discussed and a dedicated content creator area.

Sunday School, Sunday 3 July
The seventh edition of the Dutch children’s fashion fair SundaySchool will take place on Sunday 3 July. Well-known and up-and-coming children’s fashion brands show their latest collections at the fair. During the coming edition, around 250 brands from the Netherlands and abroad will be present. This year’s theme is “The Souks of Marrakech”.

With more than 1180 exhibitors, the Première Vision is one of the largest fashion fairs. The fair is divided into different areas, such as fabrics, yarns and accessories, as well as a separate area for ‘Smart Creations’. This year, for the first time, there are various service offerings, such as support for emerging companies looking for materials and manufacturers.

After a break of several years Asia Apparel returns to Berlin this year.. With more than 350 booths, whose exhibitors come from Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan and Thailand, the fair gives an insight into Asian fashion. Suppliers from the areas of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, sportswear, knitwear, denim and accessories are located in two exhibition halls.

The Berlin Premium Group organizes with the Premium Group Kosmos a new format, in which the three Premium Group concepts of Premium, Seek and The Ground are combined. A large number of contemporary fashion and lifestyle labels for women and men are presented, which are characterized by a casual and cosmopolitan approach.

After several editions of the Dutch trade fair Modefabriek had to be canceled due to the pandemic, the big fair is returning to Amsterdam this summer. Almost four hundred brands have already confirmed their participation for this year. As usual, there will be a program of talks and workshops from experts including trend watcher David Shah, social media expert Kirsten Jassies and video marketing expert Moriam Hassan Balogun. For the first time there will be ‘The Sustainable Stop’: Here you will find brands that produce more responsibly and sustainably.

Preview, Monday 11 July
On Monday 11 July the third edition of the fashion fair Preview will take place, an initiative of the Dutch fair organization Cast. On an exhibition area of more than a thousand square meters, visitors can get to know around sixty men’s clothing brands from home and abroad, whose products range from formal to casual.

The See & Order fair FashnRooms, which takes place in Düsseldorf in July, is designed like a large, temporary showroom. Various brands come there to offer their collections for sale over a period of five days. In addition to the possibility of making appointments in advance, visitors can also drop by the stands spontaneously. This year, FashnRooms is also opening new spaces. This includes the Green Room, which houses sustainable brands, and the Additionals Room, in which beauty and lifestyle products from various brands are also offered for the first time.

The Belgian trade fair LingeriePro has been an integral part of the trade fair program for years. More than 250 brands present their collections in the areas of nightwear, lingerie, swimwear, homewear, shapewear, legwear and activewear for men, women and children. A new location has been chosen this year: while the fair has so far taken place in the Waagnatie in Antwerp, this summer it will be organized in Kortrijk Xpo.

Fashion Premiere, Sunday July 31st to Tuesday August 2nd
As July turns into August, the fashion premiere takes place in the Brandboxx in Salzburg. At Austria’s largest fashion fair, around 200 exhibitors present trends. In addition to women’s and men’s clothing, the product groups on display also include the categories of large sizes, evening wear, accessories and children’s clothing. At the same time, the Lingerie & Swimwear Salon takes place in the Brandboxx, where lingerie and swimwear brands exhibit their collections to order.

Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) is a good fair for anyone who loves Scandinavian brands. The fair brings together well-known and new brands, many of which are from Denmark and Sweden. This year marks the 59th edition, traditionally held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. More than 250 brands have already registered.

BrandsHatch is canceled this summer
The second edition of the Dutch trade fair BrandsHatch, which was scheduled for July 10th and 11th, has been postponed to January. “The organization is now aiming for the January edition, provided that conditions have normalized by then,” said a press release at the end of May. BrandsHatch is a relatively young fashion fair for brands in the mid- to high-end segment. At the exhibition venue , De Fabrique in Maarssen, the organization can normally accommodate 230 brands.
Shoes Düsseldorf, Sunday 28 August to Monday 30 August
Shoes Düsseldorf takes place at the end of August. At the order show, which is organized by Igedo Company like FashnRomms, international brands present a wide variety of shoe collections: products from the premium, contemporary, urban, comfort, kids and accessories sectors are on display.
