Anouk gave her yes to Dominique Schemmekes on Saturday evening. That happened before the eyes of about 40,000 fans, during Anouk’s concert in her hometown The Hague.
About an hour and a half after Anouk opened her concert, a large arch with white roses was replaced on the stage. Not much later, 28-year-old Dominique appeared among them. The American singer Michelle David then played the favorite song of the newlyweds, after which Anouk also took the stage. The singer (47) wore a white dress and a long white veil. Anouk’s children were also present at the ceremony.
The singer now also takes the surname Schemmekes from her husband. Beforehand, Anouk had asked visitors to dress festively for the wedding, but she did not need any wedding gifts. People could instead make a donation to Triple ThreaT, the singer previously reported on Instagram. This is an organization that works for young people.
Anouk told Jinek in April that she would like to get married during the intermezzo of her own show. Her boyfriend wanted the largest possible wedding. “And yes, it can’t get any bigger.” The couple had been engaged since 2020, after the singer proposed to Dominique, and have a daughter together. The singer has been married twice before and has a total of six children.
