In the collision, the cyclist fell with her head on the road with full force.
At around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, a cyclist was hit by a car on Karl-Marx-Allee/Alexanderstrasse (middle).

According to BZ information, the driver then fled the scene of the accident. The cyclist fell with her head on the road and was seriously injured. She received emergency medical attention at the scene and was taken to a hospital.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident and the fugitive driver.
