The Spanish tennis pro Carlos Alcaraz will not be participating in the lawn tournament in London from next Monday Queen’s Club and must therefore start preparing for that Grand Slamtournament in Wimbledon.

The reason for this was elbow problems, the 19-year-old said on Twitter on Wednesday. He hopes to be able to take part in the tournament in 2023. “I’ll see you all in the UK in a few days”, he finished his short message.

Alcaraz had recently celebrated a rapid rise and reached the quarterfinals at the French Open. There he lost to the German number one, Alexander Zverev. Alcaraz has already won four tournaments this year, climbing up to sixth place in the world rankings.
