FC Bayern eliminated Bonn and reached the final series of the basketball Bundesliga against Alba Berlin.
The Munich team won the fifth game of the series in Bonn on Wednesday evening (June 8th, 2022) 87:74 (42:44). The baskets from the former federal capital had previously equalized a 0:2 deficit in the series and hoped to reach the final against Alba thanks to the home right as second in the table against the third.
The Berliners had entered the final series for the fifth time in a row with a clear 3-0 win over the giants Ludwigsburg.
